Raptortrapper OP trapper Joined: Dec 2016 Posts: 839 Colorado	Can I take traps that were dipped in speed dip last year, and dunk them in formula one now? I’ll be making some water sets for beaver. Do I need to clean off the speed dip first, or not? Why do I carry 10mm? Because shooting twice is just silly.

Mad Scientist trapper M Joined: Feb 2021 Posts: 1,790 Wisconsin	Put a couple ounces of lye in 4 or 5 gallon pot of water bring to a boil with traps covered. After 10-15 minutes at low boil if you could take off heat and add water to overflow that works best but you could dump water out and hose traps off also.Dry and they should be ready for formula 1. .
