I subscribe to the same wisdom as Warrior. Clint Locklear broke it down in a video after some hog snarers turned him onto it. Big Shane turned on me too and I snared a lot more fur.

Anyone use a call lure by a snare, like on a fence post close to the snare. Have so many crawl unders thought this would help getting them to use the one closest to the snare. Yes bob. Not right close to the snares but with-in 25-30'. It doesn't hurt to get them into the area. I put it high in the crotch of a tree or similar so they have a hard time locating exactly where its at. Keep them in the area looking for the source and they just may take the right trail.
