If he actually does what he says, that would be a refreshing change for a politician.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Can you still trap wolves there with a different permit other than a trappers license? Found this but it’s dated 2022.

I don't think we have had a season in 10 years or so. We had 3 seasons before they shut it down again.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Federal trappers are actively trapping wolves at taxpayers expense every year.

I visited with a gentleman that hunts not to far from here with his family. 3 years running where no one in they're party harvested a deer and again they see more wolves then deer. That's crazy where most Minnesotans have never seen a wolf. He went on to say that drove to many family deer camps and visited with them. This equaled close to 50 hunters. Out of those hunters he mentioned only 4 deer were taken in that area. He said it has been getting worse for 10 years.

And Yet the DNR keeps quoting old numbers
and saying bad winters etc .

It's gotta be stopped soon here with Legal changes to "manage" the population

.

Looks like Idaho, Montana’s & Wyoming have the Northern Rocky Mountain Distinct Population Segment were they have seasons since 2009. I’m assuming Alaska is open too.

That's the boggling part to me. Population estimates rarely change yet range is expanding.

It's unfortunate our two Senators can't align with Senator Baldwin.

With our current governor and lieutenant governor Minnesota will not have another season no matter what the population is!!! Deer, moose, cattle, calves, hunting dogs and pets are being killed, hasn't happened yet,but humane life more than likely a child will be attacked and killed.EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE MANAGED!!!

Wisconsin can not have a season. Like MN they have to wait until the Great Lakes population is delisted.

Spot on Rick ! The current MN administration would ignore science and prefer to manage by opinion.

The MNDNR is either stupid or they're liars when it comes to the number of wolves in MN.

I have a friend who hunts with 12 other hunters in northern MN. They haven't harvested a deer in the past 2 years. He said last year no deer were seen in 5 days of hunting. This year they decided not to hunt. Instead some of them went deer hunting out west. The DNR is pandering to the wolf lovers.

I will never understand how a judge in Maryland or California can make a decision they know nothing about.

I see, recently where a city judge in Montana stopped the wolf season temporarily.
