Got a bulb out in Colorado. 1 of 2 tailite bulbs, turn singal an brake lite still work, 2 screws an had assembly out bfore for another bulb, took 2 screws out an try pull straight back. Wouldn't go. Stuck or clips hold it? I had assembly out once long ago. Watch u tube vid of replace it,say 2 screws an clip, I try pull straight back hard an even pry lite with screwdriver on assembly but scared get rough an break something,anyone familiar with these clips ? I have bulbs an feel like fool if can't do myself an take someplace an spend a good $20 bucks,, just about change oil an that no problem but can't even get tailite assembly out

The video says to wiggle it back and forth and it will come free. For got to mention that's after you take the screws out.

It would it be better to sell the truck and buy a new one. Old plastic get brittle from the sun and can break more easily. But if it breaks just buy new parts and fix it.

I just repaired the broken tabs on my chevys tail light today. Nothing a little super glue and baking soda wouldn't fix. Now it's solid as Sears, and good for another 50 miles.
