Surprises you on your 75th Bday with something to make running trap line easier.
New Snowdog ordered pending shipment.
Now just need to figure if stock sleds adequate size or need to get 2 Clam Nordic medium size sleds

What a trip and from just playing with ( getting familiar) it in the yard this winter is going to be a whole lot easier than trudging thru crotch deep snow pulling a sled by hand on snowshoes

I've never seen a contraption like that but I can see it would be nice out on the trap line!

There are a few vids of the snowdog in action on utube.
I met a Russian guy fishing up at the canyon last summer.
He was a representative for the russian version called the Taiga Dog-Identical basically to the snowdog.
He was looking for people that would carry the product to sell here.I put him in touch with a couple of dealers locally that I knew.
Dont know if they took on the product or not.

Let us know how it performs on your line this winter Jingles.

Looks like it would work real slick to get around frozen lakes to ice fish.

I got one last winter mainly for ice fishing. I thought I would probably use it for trapping too. It's great for flat and level - perfect for ice fishing with a friend pulling the sled I'm in, a sled with my gear and him in a sled with his gear.

However, we got record snowfall in Utah last year. And when I tried it on a sloped hilly road with drifts I found it very tipppy and I biffed it several times in a short distance and it worked my arthuritc back and shoulders pretty hard for that ilttle ride. I decided I would keep it on the flat and level. I hope it works well for you and you have a lot of fun on it.

I got a hitch carrier with a ramp to haul it. It works slick without the hassle of a trailer.

So far the snowdog is a time saver, energy saver and for me a "life saver" as eliminated me killing myself hand pulling a sled with 4 cages traps up a mountain side in 18 inches of powder snow wearing snowshoes. With the standard snowdog sled as first sled and an Otter Pro Series medium sled as towed sled this BD present is the cat's meow for running the line.
Mine is the Sport B13MER 13 HP Briges engine with reverse using 2 2 x 8 ramps for loading into bed of truck flip the sleds over on top and 2 small ratchet straps keep everything in place with room for traps beside the machine. The otter medium is only about an in wider on each side than the snowdog sled so runs in pretty much same track as first sled and with the otter sled having deeper walls doesn't get the snow build up the snowdog sled does, do have to find something to put down on the inside to reduce feet from slipping and sliding on the plastic with the snow that builds up. Thinking of just painting inside of sled inside bottom with a non skid paint when winter is over.

Glad it is working out for you Jingles!!! Outstanding. I haven't needed to use mine yet, but I want to in the worst way. I'm waiting to get snow and I have a lot of work for it to do and also for trapping and fishing.

I really like mine and it works great for what I need a track machine for.

Try some old pieces of tire or snowmachine drive belt glued to the plastic. Maybe a piece of old inner tube.

We always used stuff like that to stand on the top of dogsled runners. Not slippery and you can kick the compacted snow off
