Neighbor kid got a nice 4X4 whitetail today the wife hammered the carp yesterday 13 total 4 bigger ones 2 were huge.

Nice! I will admit the blood trail above the deer in the tire tracks made me grin. That is how Wheelers usually gets his buck too. smile

The carp froze out a few years ago but since then they just keep getting bigger I don’t remember seeing them this big in the past. Last year they were in the large range but these are way bigger than last years better size carp. Biggest mirror carp I’ve ever in the last batch quite the haul this late in the year.

She fed some to her herd of cats and froze the rest. When coons are worth trapping we can fill a big and small freezer in a few months. I have a meat saw that helps cut them up frozen and bread bag them for future use.

That is a beautiful deer! Make a pretty mount for the kid. Nothing pulls hard than a carp Spent many a Friday night in the creek bank with zebco 33 reels and old army gasoline lanterns catching them . Night crawler and wheaties balls

Been warm here for it being Nov 50-60 during the day but turning cold later in the week. The lake behind the house is loaded with them it a bigger lake but not super deep.
