I took the Grandkids muskrat trapping. They were having fun, until they started getting cold. So we headed back to the house. Deer season was open and I don't walk across the yard without orange on then.

It's been about 10 years since I met you.
You were on an ice covered slough south of your house dragging a sled with muskrat in it.
Just you and Dusty Dog.
May have been the day I ran over some of your snares?
Lol.
Great pic Mark!

That dog liked checking traps. He would run from one to the next checking to see what he had. He didn't care to stand around for me to reset. He was moving on.
You waited for a couple weeks to run over those snares. I will admit, the ones you ran over were set on the two track. There were a few coyotes in there smile

The go if they are around, and hunt and fish too. They live 140 miles from here. The grand daughters both got their first deer in the youth season this year. Pictures from their youth deer hunt.

140 miles isn't to bad just a touch further than I drive to work. Getting them involved at a young age has paid off it appears.

It is far enough you don't pick them up after school and get a evening of fishing, hunting or trapping in, and take them home for school.
