Does he live in Tenn. or Alabama? He's got different address's in the Fur Taker.

Nice to see people I don't know running things, from reading his reports he has high hopes for the place, nice to see new idea's and new people push them forward vs the same ol song and dance from the same ol bunch decade after decade. Still on the fence with them due to their poor judement of charactor with a few rotten apples in the barrel but hopeful they figure things out from within. I was a big supporter of theirs long before I got tangled up in the NTA circus.

I met him at a TFTA meet and he said he lived in Tennessee. Seemed to be an alright guy. No ego.

I recall talking with him, and I believe he said he was moving, or was fixing to move. This was back in June.

When he was elected President, he did live in TN but he has since relocated to AL. He talks about his move to AL in his report in the September 2023 edition of the Fur Taker.

Thanks Paul, wasn't sure what that was all about. Guess he'll fall in with this rough bunch down here, lol.

I've met Jason many times and I've been very impressed with him. I think he's an intelligent fella that has some good ideas.

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and believe that he will do good things not only for the FTA, but for trapping and trappers in general.

I agree with CTRAPS...trappers have been lucky to have Dave Hastings and now Jason...smart, hard working articulate guys.

"Wis" lived in Tennessee for a time and he and his wife both worked for the TWRA. She was in communication's and he a biologist. She got a better job offer in Alabama earlier this year so they with their young daughter moved down there just recently. We sure do miss them up here as they both worked very hard for the TFHA. You should contact him Jackie, as I think you will find him to very well informed and willing to discuss his plans. They also donate a deer and turkey hunt to the FTA there on the family farm every year that does very well. Great people.
