Got a few today an installed one ..it's just the pan an the dog so I crimped the pan on the spring pin bar there an put the dog on now when I go to set the trap the jaw hits the crimped arms of the pan so the jaw dosnt go down all the way so the dog won't go under the pan to set unless I bend a 45 on it ...any input from guys that installed these before the pit09c

Just set up a dozen and didn't have that issue. It's tight but has clearance. Check to see if the spring pin is all the way forward in it's notch. Tap it forward if not.
Some of mine needed a little extra twist on the top ear of the legs. Hold the pan down and roll it down with the pliers.

The two "ears" that fit over the pin. Squeeze the top one down more than the bottom one.

Bend the dog up to increase, down to decrease. Careful a little goes a long way with that system.
