When I see a request for prayers, I send all of the positive waves that I can muster, and add some words that apply to their predicament in the hope that it might mean something to them that a person out here really cares for them.
I was in a near death predicament a number of years ago, and some very dear friends of the family sent out one of their prayer request deals on my behalf which I was moved by because I do realize the strength which they have in their Faith. I was very appreciative of it. I was also very moved by many other people who care about me who contacted me personally just to let me know that they cared.

Would it be possible to start a prayer forum or room or a sticky that people can request prayer without annoying those who dont believe? This way if we had one, the ones in need can go there and ask. I realize many dont believe and dont want to hear it so if we had a spot for believers to go and ask? I know God to many is a private thing and they arent called to speak up. Nothing wrong with that as he gives us all gifts in different ways. I see no reason to have a separate forum for this. If folks don't want to read threads asking for prayer, they shouldn't open them.
