Main one I miss is a true "138 VIN code" 1967 Chevelle Super Sport. Special order 427 CI /425 HP, 4 speed car. Marina blue with black interior. Bought it for 200 bucks in 1977 from the original owner, because it kept slinging the driveshaft out everytime he got on it a bit... both motor mounts and the transmission mount were broken. Fifty dollars in parts and a few hours work.
Sold it for $2500 when I joined the USMC in 1980.
Would be a $100K (plus) car today.

LOL, been so many...

My first, 1967 RS Camaro, paid $50 for it in 1977, spun bearings.
Went thru a handful.of SBCs until I built a decent one.

If one 67 Camaro is good, might as well.get another.

Olds powered '68 Chevelle

LOL, was my hunting/ trapping vehicle for a couple years.

My first truck was a 56 GMC I bought in 83 when I was 15 years old. It needs some serious work but I still have it.

My first truck, bought it when I was a junior in high school in 1970. 1948 International KB1. Paid $175 for it. Biggest drawback was it was a 6 volt.
O yah, the vacuum wipers were not that great either. I did find a 6 volt radio from JC Whittney so had a premier sound system.
Second best was a 1972 Chevy Blazer, 250 six and three on the tree. Four wheel drive and never looked back.
Come to think of it, I have only owned 1 car in my life. It was a 1966 Rambler Classic and a real chick magnet.

It had fold down seats and was the redeeming feature.

Back in the day, I had a 55 Ford Sunliner convertible. No rust. Let a guy talk me into selling to him. Wish I still had it.

In 1999 I had a medical accident that paralyzed my left side. Since I couldn't play piano anymore, I sold my Steinway piano. Eventually I was able to gain control of my left side and wish I'd never sold the piano.

Remember as a kid we played army and you gave up the fort so the other side got it? Of course you don't. Little kids aren't that stupid.
