I just planted 85 cloves of garlic.
60 cloves of music and 25 cloves of german extra hardy. First year for the german extra hardy.

Anyone else planted any?

Yes, last Sunday.
About the same number you did. We devoted a large bed to growing garlic exclusively for the coming year.

Planted about 15lbs of mostly softneck last year with some music and german. Drought all year resulted in no picking or digging to speak of so I left the majority in the ground to see what another year in the ground will bring..........wasnt worth digging so I figured I would try it

Planted about 100 mid October. I usually cover with several inches of leaves.

We don’t cover, at all. No point with a raised bed.
