I’ve seen pictures of my mother holding me in the boat at a year old while my dad was checking fish nets. All of my youngest memories were of sitting in boats, canoes, trailers, Toboggans, and small sleds where my dad was pulling us to check rabbit snares. We spent all our younger years running around in the woods with 22s and fishing rods. An awesome life for sure I was actually meaning to ask you on the caribou hunt you are using an AR is it 223/5.56 or another caliber ? no judgment either way my family thought 22 hornet was the best deer caliber ever before the state went shotgun zone
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Depends on the type of hunting? Wasn't even walking yet when I was hunting for food! Was always looking for something to put in my mouth. Hunted frogs and worms along with tadpoles as soon as I could walk. Used home made bows and arrows to hunt frogs and fish, before I was 6. Shot a BB gun and a 22 by 7 , and a shotgun by 8. Hunted sparrows and other birds with the BB gun for awhile , then would sneak dad's 20 gauge double barrel Fox Sterling out to hunt rabbits and squirrel. Hunted rabbits with the 22 around 8 or 9 , bought my first gun a 20 gauge savage pump at 14, with my own money. When I think about it, I was hunting from my first day on earth.
We have met the enemy and the enemy is us!

I’ve been using them for 4-5 years and have done great. Yeah the 22 in l,lr,short, mag have been killing animals up here since they showed up. Ah that’s to bad the shotgun only. What do you use for your shotgun setup?

Shot my first moose when I was 1 month old. Needed help skinning it because I couldn’t stand up yet. Haha. Just kidding but I started going out long before I could remember.
