Is there any way that a "donation" account could be set up prior to an auction?

Ir think it is the right time and the right idea I will do my best to support it finically Either by bidding on items or donating items If you all remember one of Charlie's books is titled THE GREAT TEACHERS And anyone that ever spent a small amount of time around Charlie knows he loved to talk trapping and would share his knowledge with everyone that wanted to learn .Indeed he was and still is a great teacher .And what a great thing to help kids get an education based on scientific fact not new age feel good garbage

Good news! Cindy said she will set it up for us. She sure has her stuff together, and we're blessed to have her. We've got time since the first scholarship won't go out until late summer 2024. We'll probably have an auction to fund it this coming spring.
That is great. We just went through several scholarship programs for my son. The one thing we learned, that you guys may not have thought about, is to get the scholarship in and processed prior to high school graduation, so the winners can have the scholarship announced and acknowledged during their graduation. Also a few scholarships in the $750-$1000 range would be great so you can spread the love VS. say one $5000 scholarship. I too will be glad to help out if I can.

Glad to hear this will still go on. I don't know how it was funded when it was handled by the NTA, but I'm willing to bet it will be even more successful with the support of the entire forum. I was feeling kind of bad about the way everything turned out with the NTA, but if we can expand this scholarship and make it better than ever than maybe it's not a bad thing. The kids are the future of trapping, after all.
