According to the link below, there are more houses being built now than in the last 50 years. I talked to a builder I know the other day and he said they are building like crazy, but no one is buying.
Why would people build housing for no buyers? Are we gonna see these ridiculous prices go down soon?

Reminds me of Chinas ghost cities. We have a fake economy that is being propped up by government spending/ debt, once they pull away the punchbowl everything would crash.

The democrats need houses to use our tax dollars to house millions of illegal aliens in, with huge kickbacks for doing so. Cost is not an option for them.

Building like crazy in De. Retirees moving here in droves from Jersey and NY. They are building before the roads are even done and…..they ain’t cheap.

Geez remember all the spec homes that went up in “07 before the big crash in fall of “08? Lot of builders and those backing the builders got caught holding homes that nobody could buy.

My son-in-law and daughter have been involved in building spec houses for the past two of three years. He does the number crunching and she does the interior design. The houses start at 1.5 million and go from there. If we were living in normal times it wouldn't concern me but these ain't normal times.

I remember 250 million people in the United States!
Now they say 330 million,that a lot of housing.
Also 80 million people,create @ 98.6 degrees a lot of heat
for climate change.

There's a shortage of affordable housing in Charlottesville. Yes, there's a lot of foreigners looking for a place to live.

Builders and all involved do not get paid unless they are building house. At some point this market has to crash.

Not everyone should own a home.

Not everyone should go to college.

Two very important truths often avoided in this country because the banking system needs people hooked on debt.

Not everyone should have kids.

No one not capable of taking care of their kids should have kids.
