Pro's / cons I got one to fiddle with but at first glance the four coils are way too strong to make it easy to use in the crap i operate in, weight means won't be lugging a bunch around in the long walk area's, wide smooth jaws concern me the most, make it easy for a slippery back foot to slide out. Appears to be a better wolf trap than beaver trap, monster sized swivels welded j hooks, etc. Not my circus, not my clowns.

Shakeyjake trapper Joined: Jun 2022 Posts: 1,885 Manitoba	Bought an offset for wolf in Escanaba but we can’t use em here yet, price was too good to leave it there. Never thought of using a regular jawed one for beaver, they’re certainly pretty solid for the money.

Still not convinced it's a beaver trap, looks more geared toward wolf. Not my circus, not my clowns.

S yu dun shriveled up more them I expected I WA state we need to use padded jaws using special permit' I use chunks of rubber and friction tape. Makes for a sticky jaw.
