How big? What do yall carry on your truck?

32 ft ladder, 24 ft ladder, 8ft step ladder, 12 ft collapsable.
A single rung 20 ft ladder is very handy for inspections and light

Different trucks have different ladders on them depending on what they do.

As a company we have:

40ft extensions
32ft extensions
Half of a 20 extension that we use with a ridge hook


Collapsible/Aframe/Extension Ladders
26’ - horrible ladder. It’s incredibly heavy when extended out.

12’ - wonderful ladder! Each truck has one!

We have a couple step ladders that we’ve been given. They just sit in the warehouse.

On the truck, 32', 28', 12' extensions. 6' step and 20' (half a 40') with ridge hook.
Off truck, 40' extension, 8' step.

Used to carry 24 and 32 on the trucks when I managed another firm, with the forty available when needed.

Went into business for myself and found that a 28 handled 90% of the need with a 36 at the house for when needed.

But I'm pretty much turning down ladder work and focusing on beaver and coyote now.

I used to use half of a 40’ on a ridge hook, but bought the goat steep assist system and won’t go back. Super light and works great.
