If there is one near you, Scheels has a sale going, 15 percent off of all primers, powder and bullets until October 27th.
I walked out of there with an 8lb just of H4350, $298 plus tax.

Also, ballistic products has $4.99 flat rate shipping right now, INCLUDING HAZMAT. If you need powder you can't find locally now is the time to order. Code is "GROUSE" expires Oct 27 I think I heard Midsouth had a deal that waved hazmat and free shipping over x amount

I have a pound of H380 in my cabinet that the tag says 8 something. It's 30 years old I'd imagine.

I have a pound of H380 in my cabinet that the tag says 8 something. It's 30 years old I'd imagine. I used to shoot a lot. Was nothing to drop $1,800 in a trip to mid south. Now I have a 500 yard range at home and shoot very little. Something to do with time and money.

Wow price has gone up. Sticker fell off this can. It had $3.45 on it and was mfg in Scotland. 1977 lot number, purchased 4/79.

36 dollars a pound is no deal Have you bought 8 lbs of powder in the last 30 months? Pounders of H4350 were/are selling for $50 a lb since the covid scare. Sure it's not a deal considering what we paid when were were kids but then I used to make 6 dollars an hour. Ed, large rifle primers are the holy grail it seems. I haven't physically seen any in a store since I was on a fishing trip to Michigan this spring. I know Scheels gets some in on occasion and they generally don't last very long as in hours. I guess I did see some CCI 34s at the Scheels where I'm working.
