Complely forgot about old cooler about half full ancient almost empty lure bottles an even few half full. Mostly canine from long ago. Did find some loganberry lure ingredient an old beaver . Also took whiff Dunlap's fire fly glow in dark. Had few yrs an took whiff for first time, sweet smell stuff. Well red fox gland call lure with some skunk essence in it work same as coon gland lure like boar's delite ? I think coon gland lure works good late in season . Still have 2 oz of nite bandit left. One my favorite coon lure an leg creek muskrat lure a cpl oz, very potent stuff . I say keg creek has strongest smell lure I got u

Im sure it would work. I don’t know if you needs to go heavy with the skunk or use skunk at all

Yes it'll work. The skunk is a carrier I've been told, meaning the scent molecules from other smells attach themselves to the skunk and it carries those scents further from the set as well so its easier for critters to smell farther away. Coons use their noses more than some people think they do IMO. It's how they find your coyote sets way out in the middle of a section.

Good technical explanation of how scent works. I could never explain that. All I know is the winds along stream seem to blow in different variable directions . Even if prevailing wind is different

It sure does. It swirls around down in there and you just never know where the scent is going but traveling a little farther sure shouldn't hurt anything.
