Was just thinking about all the idle land along our interstate highway system. Put all the homeless migrants in cheap shelters on this land. They could have gardens to raise their own food. Put out some outdoor toilets. Give them space heaters for warmth in cold weather along with fresh water to drink, wash clothes and bath. Schools for the kids would be a problem. Could not be any worse than laying around on our streets and causing problems with crime and etc..

Why should I pay for their housing and land. and that is what you are suggesting

A lot of suggestions here are covered by laws that are not enforced nowadays like illegal immigration to begin with and no one is held accountable for failing to follow the rule of law. Today if you picked up a known illegal then took them to jail you would be told to release them just open the front door for them. Even the courts have sided with illegals over the rule of law how does that work?

Obummer stopped the deportation of illegals no matter what you’re told to the contrary I know I lived it. One day then ICE said they will no longer pick them up and detain them. Before that ICE would be down from ND within 3 days to get them we were told to release them. How can 1 man do that with no laws being passed.

Cutting off benefits would mean several million people camping and defecating and begging on our streets.

We can't deport them all en masse because Congress has enacted a process each immigrant is entitled to in order to consider their claim to refugee status.
