Sounds like Starlink but that thing is moving if you blink it’s gone.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

I saw the Starlink a couple of nights ago. About 5 minutes after it passed from view, I saw two lights moving slowly across the sky. Both those lights turned off one by one. Noticed afterwards that internet/streaming began messing up.

Runs through the night sky around 9:15 to 9:30 in SE Kansas. Saw it every night we fished all night. First time it concerned me.
Praise the Lord and Pass the ammunition.

I believe the website can help you track them by your approximate location. First time I saw them years ago, I was in Rhinelander ... thought they were a squadron of Apache helicopters on night maneuvers flying follow the leader. Today there are many times more of the satellites up there.

I remember first time I saw starlink I just stood there in awe and thought wow a human built that, pretty amazing. Jim

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

The way I understand it is each one is about the size of a big table with a solar panel. They make no light. The light you see is the sun shinning on those solar panels and when they move into the earths shadow they appear to be turning their lights out because they are no longer being reflected on by the sun. It reminds me of a bunch of biscuits being shot out of a can, with time they get farther apart and eventually will be far enough apart that if you see one it will just look like a star. So far they have like 5000 up there and will be possibly tripling that in the future. That's what I was gonna say! Thanks.
