Coon gland lure works for me late season but also I’ve found that about any gland lure is attractive to coon in late season. Coyote, cat, fox, mink, they all work late season on my line for coon. Blinds sets are good late too. Jim

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

3togo I know for several seasons now I’ve not had very good luck with DPs late in year even when I know there are still coon in the area. Dry baits with little odor don’t seem to reach out and grab as well in cold dry late season weather. Early in December I can hammer them with DPs. After Christmas not so much. I have some luck with them using straight oily fish like mackeral mashed up and spooned into those traps. Always a lure on the lip too though. I have better luck with cages and bigger baits and lots of gland lure. Also blind sets with footholds or 160s and 220s seem to take bulk of my late season coon. We have such a mixed bag around here. Hard to make a coyote set without taking coon too. The loud predator baits and predator gland lures really shine late for coon too. Part of the reason why I don’t run too large traps for coyote because I can count on lots of decent boar coon in my sets too. Gang set like you do early season too. Charlie Dobbins land trapping book talks about gland lures for late season coon. I’m a believer in them and again not necessarily coon gland lure either but any predator gland lure seems to hold their interest. Jim

Like ADC, I'm a huge fan of Boar's Delight in the late season. Great stuff!

Like others have said blackies works well. Also it isn’t coon specific but red fox gland lure like lenons or from mark June always work well for me
