They like to collect on the south side of the house, wasn't expecting them yet as it's still pretty warm and night temps haven't dropped much...but killed around 50 so far today... darn turkeys not doing their job!, lol

I mix in a qt spray bottle-
1 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar
1/4 cup Dawn dish soap
Kills them quick and if you get their underside wet, they die in less than a minute. An afternoon/evening of spraying them you’ll need to sweep or blow all the dead ones up so you don’t step on all the dead ones.

We don't get the large numbers of stinkbugs other people do. I see mostly singles. I knocked one out of my truck earlier today and then stepped on it. In the Fall, we see usually less than 1 a week get in our house. i have no idea how they get in. I know people, just a little South of here, that get many hundreds of stinkbugs on the outside of their houses and dozens inside.

We got swarmed yesterday, first sunny, warm day in a week or more. i just use dawn dish soap and water 50/50. I killed dozens, maybe hundreds yesterday afternoon walking around the place spraying them off the walls.

A few days prior my wife commented that she hopes the stinkbugs aren't bad this year. I said they haven't been bad in years, why would they be.

Well...I was wrong.

Eh...wot?

Those are the Brown Marmorated stink bug. An introduced pest from Asia. You may just think of them as a pest because they like to overwinter in your house, but to horticultural crops they are devastating.

I assume we are talking about Asian beetles. They came out here yesterday and I have never seen them this bad. 100's get in the house every time you open the door. The house and garage are covered with them. They are VERY annoying!

I have nothing clever to put here.

Yea, I was thinking these lil suckers.

They bit & stink when squashed. They’re all over the place until the temp cools or sun goes down. They cuddle up in bunches in the corners of the garage. Little shot of konk and they’re all on the floor.

Those are Asian Lady beetle. They are coming out of the fields now that the crops have matured. They mainly live on aphids through the summer.
