Is Dan Reich, the maker of Pogo Anchors still in business? He used to be a regular on the convention circuit. I haven't heard about him in many years.
I know he was busy raising kids, and I believe building a house at one time. I was reading a post about trap anchors and got to wondering about him.
He used to post a picture of a pile of drivers when he was leaving for a convention, if you guessed the correct number of drivers in the pile there was a
prize. Hope he is still doing well.

I don't know about him, but I love Pogo anchors.

You can find him on Facebook, I believe MTP took over the pogo line but I could be mistaken.

POGO is alive and well.
I talked to him at the end of august. I believe he went to the Wisconsin Convention.

I like pogos , because I can make my own without waiting on others being shipped if I run out.
Simple and easy to make.
I bought 100's of 1 1/2 and 2 inch washers and never run out of them.
Just make sure you use the driver , pull up and twist and pound down again to set it flat.

I’ve been using homemade pogos since the late 90s in my clay, sandy ground that has no rocks. I would buy 1.5” fender washers by the 1000 and 30D nails, NEVER had a “stake-pumping” coyote ever budge one!! It’s all about square inches of surface area displacement! Making pogos is a good shop project in March! LOL

I've used them in sandy river bottom and also muck and never had one pulled up.
