Today I admitted it. I am old. I have pride and , as Mom used to say, "more than a small stubborn streak". Saw a pair of 330 setting handles at my local Running store and BOUGHT THEM !!! I thought, there is no reason to keep fighting those 330s. I gave up.Father time has beaten my stubborn butt !!!

Falls under smarter not harder. If we all had done things smartin our 30’s we would’ve been better off in our joints and backs as we hit 60’s

Doing things the hard way just because that is the way you did them in the past or because you could does not lead to a better future It only leads to life being more difficult . As a novice trapper I used a kitchen spoon to flesh racoon . Sure it worked But a good fleshing knife made a world of difference in every way possible .Had I not been such a hard head about accepting change I would have been a much more successful trapper .

You must not be very old if you just now started using spring compressors

After a lifetime of hard work and heavy lifting my joints are wore out. Lifting that first cup of coffee can be a challenge some days,,Now I know why the old man would set up a job to make things easier instead of manhandling.

Do whatever it takes to make life easier! you'll save money on tylenol!

If you don’t switch to setters your hands will pay the price over time like you said stubborn but then will realize we should have used setters all along really. LOL Been there done that my hands are a mess today not what they once were before.

I doubt that you will regret getting the setters. You probably might wish you had done that a long time ago. I know I did when I finally got some.

I learned that last year and started using them for coilsprings and conibears, no matter the size. And I'm only 16, so hopefully it will save my hands a little bit. You won't regret it and once you get used to them , you can keep a pretty good pace yet.

I’ll use tongs if I’m setting a couple dozen 330’s to throw in the boat, don’t use them on the line.

A rope with a loop large enough for your foot run through the eyes a couple time works fine too.

I am a much happier person since I switched from Coffee in the morning to orange juice. My doctor says its the sugar and the citrus acid in it.
