Around me tonight. seen one doe, she was oblivious it was 125 yds from her. But must have smelt or seen later on, left quick. Heard three at the sxs leaving.

One I seen was pretty big, Might have seen it 6 years ago with a big collar on it. Nice to have a hunt agin soon !

Got one or two c. latrans two howling about a half mile away from the house towards town.

The wolfies have somewhat thinned out hear in the last 3 years .I think it is mostly due to some aspect of nature although 248 were taken in 2022.Do you now have a season there ?

You can ride a fast horse slow but you can't ride a slow horse fast .

Not to be a stickeler, but the scientific name for coyote, I am pretty sure, is Carniverous vulgaris.
But then again, I watched way too many cartoons as a young lad, and well into adulthood...
Interestingly enough, another mistaken scientific name is commonly given for the roadrunner.
It is actually, Acceratii incredibus. (Source: same as above for Carniverous vulgaris.)
You can look it up if there is any doubt. Google these scientific names for the most accurate results.

C. vulgaris is not accepted anymore.


The Scientific name for coyote is C. latrans.

Also it's not Caniverous... It's Canis
