Is Texas that good, or is Alabama going to have a down year?

Bama has company, they weren't the only SEC team to bite the dust these first two weeks.

The QB didn’t go out…he should’ve though. He’s young and made a lot of mistakes. He’s a runner and ran a lot when he shouldn’t have. He has to learn to trust his linemen and stay in the pocket. It’ll be interesting next year when Texas joins the SEC.
I’m really worried about my Dawgs when we ever play someone more along our level. New QB’s just make me nervous, lol. I ain’t completely sold on Beck yet.

JBYRD, I realize that. I was referring to the games Florida, LSU, Texas A & M, South Carolina and of course Alabama lost. All those teams lost to a Non-SEC team thus far in the new season.

Out of those, the only surprise to me was LSU. I knew Bama was going to have some growing pains. Florida and SC sorta par for the course the last several years. A&M I thought might have a chance.
Honestly every Team I’ve watched regardless of conference has looked sloppy.

Bama's a dumpster fire this year, dynasty is over! No the quarterback stayed in the whole game which is part of why they lost, if he's the best they got id hate to see one of the other's out there! TX is a good team, Bama just isn't a great team anymore. I figure they might go 8-4 if they're lucky. Get into a tidy bowl at the end of the season.

Shouldn't shock anyone though, they couldn't go anywhere last year with an NFL quarterback!

give Texas some time and a few more games and I will be shocked if they dont throw a huge poopoo performance and get hammered. they need some adversity to see how they respond.

Both teams were bad. Texas just less bad.

It was a good game to watch as a fan of neither one. 5 TD's in the space of 7 minutes, then just play the 3 and out game for a bit.

I thought Bama was going to pull it out when they came out of the tunnel for the second half. Like Jackie said though, that Bama QB is bad.

I have the Dish Network. At the present time they are only feuding with NBC. I could not watch the Penn State game yesterday because it was on Peacock. I had CBS games, ABC games, Fox games, ESPN games and a host of others.

I havnt had fox on dish network for almost a year. Must be different feuds for each region.
