Well, I have a neighbor what migrated to southeast Texas several years ago to escape socialism. now for the most part he and I do get along pretty well. With that said, he has managed to (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) off every neighbor around him due to his obnoxious OCD problem. I have counseled with him for two years that folks out in the country that own their land and have fences and such do not like being told what to do with their property. But, since he was a code enforcement person in some city north of the USA border, he felt that he should continue dogging these good southern folk about one of their fences being 2" on his property and the other neighbors fence being 4" on the other neighbors property. These two neighbors are best friends with each other, not the northern transplant. So a two lot section between the neighbor from up north and I came up but due to the rising inflation and higher than a giraffes testicle property taxes, neither of us wanted to pay to send all these pepper bellies entering illegally to go to school. So, another neighbors mother and father bought both lots and are currently building there. Said northern transplant in quick order had a survey conducted and had stakes on his boundaries. then hired an outfit to put up a 7' wooden fence to block his view of the construction site. And, has thrown multiple fits when one of the workers drives four inches on his easement accessing the site. Now, here comes the irony. As his fence was being built, he had no issue with all of the lumber being offloaded on his new neighbors lot, nor did he have issues with the workers driving onto their lot. Furthermore, he regularly parks his vehicle on his neighbors lot to the south without that neighbors permission.

now, two days ago i watched this cat take pictures of the construction site where the home is being built. I text and inquired as to what are you doing? He replied. Documenting this mess that needs cleaned up by the contractor as it is an eye sore. Well, we live in the country far outside of any municipality. No code enforcement, no county regs. he just appointed his nosey arse as the chief inspector for this neighborhood. He then informed me he would be attaching my name to the email he was sending the contractor about his findings, now, said contractor is also our neighbor and these folks building are his mother and father in law. Therefore, I told him you will not attach my name to anything as what he is whining about is stupid and quite frankly, none of his business. Especially since he has a 7' fence and the only way he can see it is to walk in front of the property. Well, he didnt like that. So he came over, I led him out to the street and told him to please send said pictures and all concerns to the head fellow over this company and to not be alarmed when this fella beats the dog urine out of him for all of his belly aching and whining, not to mention sticking his nose in someone else's business when it doesnt concern him one bit. Evidently he did send the pictures to this old fella. When I got home around 1430 from taking my mom and dad to the doctor, several Sheriff dept units were right here, and an ambulance was leaving.


He is currently at the local ER getting treated for about 25.00 worth of nickel knots on his noggin and receiving sutures to several lacerations from knuckle sammitches. Perhaps, from this point forward, he should listed to someone who has lived right here all of their life. I tried to tell him this was not gonna go over well and he just had to push the envelope. perhaps this will help him in the future. I may or may not have deleted my ring doorbell footage. I cant stop watching the footage of what is now gone.

Lots of folks have a neighbor like that at some point in life.

I did ...and after a nasty life surrounding everyone who lived near them, all the neighbors got together one night, tore down all his signs, his wire gate shutting traffic off of the road we all drove on, rolled it up in one huge wire ball mess, dropped it into his driveway, and sat in trucks on my place, enjoying brews and some country music ...and that, as they say, was the end of that mess .

I got a call last week about a guy clearing bush without a permit and bumping the powerline…..lights flickering. I show up, it’s just a farmer turning 4 acres of bush into field beside this small property. The people just moved out from Winnipeg and are ticked that he’s removing the bush. They’ve even called the RCMP on old Henry…lol. I told them that he may have bumped the line but the trees are clear and their service is fine. Henry don’t need no dang permit to clear bush on his property. They’ve got a steep learning curve about country life, and winters right around the corner.

I bet they figure it out sooner than later. it would be in their best interest.

Knew of a guy that waited until Halloween to address that behavior. Put on a rubber mask and waylayed him. Only thing he could tell the cops was he was big and hairy and laughed every time he hit him.
