I disconnect all the time. Just about all my favorite places to go have zero cell service. Out here once you get a couple miles from the highway you lose service just about everywhere. It takes some getting used to at first but after the first couple hours I forget I even have a phone

Yes I do go without it. This is the only site I go on. Never had Facebook twitter or anything. My wife has an email and my stuff goes through hers.

No problem. This site and the ky trappers forum is all I do. Never done FB or the others.

Other than football scores, no problem.

Oh sure, easily. I'm not on facebook or tiktok, too many idiots on those sites. I use Twitter for news because news gets reported faster there than on TV or radio.

I also do not use a smartphone for internet stuff. And seeing me with a cellphone is far more rare than seeing the Loch nest monster or Bigfoot, I'm not a cellphone zombie.

My phone quit taking a charge and the battery went dead. I went for two days without one and it was tough.
I'm researching stuff constantly and it's my communication link with my Sons and my siblings. YouTube is great to watch how to replace parts on the pickup, etc.

I was disconnected for the first 40 years of my life, somehow I survived!, I can drop this habit in a second... lol
