Anyone know where Jim has been and if he’s well? It’s been a bunch of years since I’ve heard from him. I hope he’s getting along ok.

I haven’t been in touch with him for a few years He was struggling with his balance I believe. One of the truly nicest people you could ever meet.. Always was willing to help out any younger trapper or anyone for that matter. He loved the trapping game and the muskrat sloughs . Hope he’s doing OK.

Black hammer, good to see you’re still around old friend.

I’m saddened to hear about Jim. If anyone has contact information for him, please message me. I’d love to speak to him.

Last time I saw and spoke with Jim was last summer at Cumberland's open house. I did not see him this year at the MN convention.

I was speaking about him the other day and the Muskrat Mafia hats he had made up for us.

Something else that many don't know about Jim is he was a mountain climber of sorts. He told me he climbed Devil's Tower and I was reminded about that when I was there this summer.

Sure hope he’s okay, super nice guy and one heck of a trapper. Use to trap some of the same area during the fur boom. I moved away but did know general area he lived. Haven’t seen him in about ten years.
