I agree, 4 - 10's are nice. I have worked one Friday in the last yr.

I was working 5 - 12's for close to 4 yrs. The checks were good, but I dont miss them hrs at all.

About sixty but I do contracting work so it can vary quite a bit. My social security starts next month so it may drop considerably.

Typically 7 days a week 8 hour days until I either go 70 or 80 days straight and get fed up or a holiday hits and they give us a day or two off. Next month going to 4 12’s and looking forward to it, unfortunately it’s just for a month to get some off shift guys trained up.

I am self employed so my hours vary. In the summer after a storm, 70 hrs a week is the norm but that slacks off most years.

I dont get the badge of honor worn by some as to how many hours you work. Obviosuly have to take care of family and bills but Ive seen people give their all to a company who then put them right out on the street.

15 hour work weeks. I'm a librarian and I love the work, the pay isn't great. Looking to move up someday but I'm aging out.

Just depends on what you call work, try laying block in this heat
over 8 hrs a day. Always fun hearing people working them long
hours. But if your outside, out in the heat, not in the air on a tractor or
any piece of machinery ,it is a different working atmosphere.

Some of you guys are working more in a week than I did in the whole month of July.

There's this thing called 3 day weekends, vacation pay, and holidays. You guys are literally working yourself to an early grave.

After adding in holidays, vacation time, sick time and comp time I average about 33 hours a week.

We work 3 12 hour shifts one week and 4 12s the next. So I end up with about 38 or the 3 days weeks and about 50 on the 4 day weeks.
