Never lost one permanently. Now if you’d ask how many tools I’ve broken or worn out on the line, that’s a different story lol

Lure bottle labels count? LOL

Body grip safety setters. Solution was to paint them bright orange.
Must be nice to eat ice cream as fast as you want and not have to worry about brain freeze.

For the most part,I paint all my trapping tools with bright orange.Sometimes I find the setters, occasionally they are never found.Probably beamed away by aliens. I always carry two sets of 330 setters,Lots of times I leave one at a set after removing the catch and re making, Having a spare keeps me from back tracking in the middle of a line run.I will pick them up next run but sometimes they will be covered in snow and difficult to find unless I remember the specific set I left them at.

I lost a couple ice spuds years ago when they slip out of your fatigued hands and into the loon poop at the bottom of the pond under the ice. Then I started putting a wrist loop on them and thought it was good,I would never lose an ice spud again-wrong-lost a couple when I left the handle loop sticking out the side of the sleigh, only to get caught up in trail brush and whipped under the snow somewhere never to be seen again, lol.

See? This is why you can't have nice things.
I have nothing clever to put here.

I don’t really loose them. I like to leave them on my trap so I know where they are. Actually I’m bad for leaving the trap safeties on…haha. I’ve bought a bunch of these. Leave em in every vehicle I drive, trap bag, sleigh, trap tool box, trap pail, and one that I keep in the pocket. I found this type to be the most user friendly. My manager gave me a site safety visit. He was questioning some stuff I had in the back seat of the truck. Told him “ you just never know when you’ll need 330 setters n stuff”. He just gave me a puzzled look….lol. As long as I’m on standby after hours, I can take my work truck anywhere in the area I cover. This one somehow managed to get the bent part of the stand buried to the hilt in his “dirt chute”
