Looking at new trucks. Really would love to find a "new" or very low mileage 18-21 Tundra, but they are hard to come by and their resale value is still very high.

I know the 22 Tundra's had a lot of issues when they first rolled out with their V6 Turbos. Heard there were issues with the turbos, transmissions, computers, etc.

I was told by the DEALER that they worked all those kinks out with the 2023 Tundras.

Is this true? Does anyone have a 2023 Tundra and have you had any issues with it? Reviews?

Thanks!

I'm very interested as well. I think my next truck may end up being a Tundra.

Buddy of mine works there and just got a 2023.Way too many gizmos. Better not loose your ONE fob they give you. 77.000 dollars and you get one key LOL 8 months he will get the second one. mileage sucks just like the v-8.
If I was betting I'd say that air induction motor won't last . Just me

I have a 2016 that I want to upgrade. I didn't look in 2022 because I heard the same things you did. This summer I talked to a campground host here in S.D. who had a 2023. He pulled a 26 foot camper from California to South Dakota with it and said he was very impressed. He complained about the gas mileage while towing but people don't buy a toyota for gas mileage. He claimed mid 20s when not pulling. Sorry not much help but that's all I've heard.

Ordered 2022 tundra 2022 Limited, the twin turbo 6, has performed well, gas milage beats the V 8 by 5/6 miles. Have had some computer issues, on the navagation system. Toyota navagation system is free first 12 months, then you have to buy or use your phone navaigation. Truck rides handles well. Mine didn't come with skid plate, and cheaap tires. Bought and istalled skid plate, replaced tires. Toyota advertises truck to be off road, but doesn't install s plate. I get off road don't need a stick, rock, or who knows comeing up into motor. I did order the long bed, whick I've only seen couple. All in all truck is ok, have driven Toyota since 91, and had good luck, great resale value. I tell people who bash Toyota, I'll drive antthing If your buying.

How would they know if the kinks were worked out? It's brand new. Need time and milage.

I guess since the 2023s dropped at the end of last year they haven't been seeing the same issues that plagued them when the 22s came out?
