Water wolves.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Isn't that the second otter attack in Montana in the last week?

I have nothing clever to put here.

I saw a lab go in the water after a family of otters. He popped to the surface, yelped and swam to shore from the dock. One of the adults escorted him to the beach. Only nipped him. The rest of the afternoon, the dog pretended to not see the otters swimming around and running under the dock.

I saw an 90 pound black lab, named Zeke, get the heck smacked out of him by a 6 pound, black and white, then feral cat. I don't think labs are very tough dogs. In the water, it would be hard to beat an otter.

I’ve said if they were mainly land mammals I wouldn’t be in the woods at night, lol. We’ve caught and released those critters in cage traps in the dry pines and drew straws to see who was releasing and who was sitting in the Ranger with their foot on the gas, lol!!
