While pulling a forklift from the woods the tractor tire turned up a snake nest. Will the unhatched still have a chance it bury them back in the ground. Some appeared to have already hatched but suffered critical injuries.

I would put the ones that are do badly injured out of their misery and carefully burry the rest of the unhatched eggs.

Yes, put them back in a 6 foot deep hole............then add 5 gallons of diesel...........no need to tell you the final step.

I would put the ones that are do badly injured out of their misery and carefully burry the rest of the unhatched eggs. Lightly scoop out a shallow bowl and place the eggs back and lightly recover with dirt and ground duff. Thats the best a fella could do. Done.

Bury them , be careful NOT to turn the eggs over, as the eggs have to lay just like they were laid. Can only hope the eggs weren't turned over when you moved the forklift. But from the picture it looks like they were. Snakes are important to all wildlife.
