Anyone have an opinion on these two? I have the safeguard now but the special of 2 wcs skunk specials with covers for $160 is a bargain. Thanks

I use all my traps with skunks, chucks, and opossums. Raccoons get 36” traps, but 30” will work when they have to. The more specialized the equipment is, the more you have lying around taking up room. For a cover, a black contractor bag is cheap and works.

This^ but a skunk sized 6x6 or 7x7 is useful as you can carry more or inside the bigger cages.

I wish I had more of them and I don't get skunk calls.

Good points made by both. 80% of my calls are for skunks so I keep a proportionate number of those traps. I do double the use of my Comstocks for skunks, groundhogs and anything else that has a burrow. Can't beatem.

I have a couple of the WCS skunk traps and they have been getting a workout this year. Haven’t tried the safeguards. I will say I plan on ordering more of the WCS skunk traps, but won’t be buying any more of their bigger traps.
