Some fine eating right there now ! Our chokecherry tree in the yard is covered with berries this year hopefully I'll beat the birds to them !
Syrup or jelly making in your future maybe both ?

Just started on the Salmon berries, its a great year. I picked about four gallons in two days. The Blue berries still have another week or more before they are ready.

Most people here pick blueberries to sell.Dont know if Jim sells or freezes.
They bring a good dollar.
Not uncommon to make a few thou in a couple weeks when the picking is good, and still have plenty for personal use.

I forgot about the sale market for berries in some places , here it's cokecherries as long as you remember each one is more of a pit than something to eat , but the jelly , jam and syrups darn good eating ask Pete ha ha

The buffalo berries and wild plums are darn good eating as well if you can beat the coyotes and birds to them !

Jeff those salmon berries look darn good too !

There was a pretty good crop around here too Jim.

I only managed to get a couple gallons over the 4th. That is the earliest I've picked them. Been gone working all summer.

Was out yesterday scouting new spots to pick we were having a good rain.
Picked 30 days straight so far with my first break yesterday.
Still lots of berries to pick.
