I stopped at Kittery Trading Post yesterday after a weekend getaway and picked one up for $99.85. They are celebrating their 85th anniversary and have specials going on.

I've got a couple of Diamondback HDs (upgrade from the Diamondback) and have been happy with what I got for the price. Both have the BDC reticle. The reticles are very fine which is great for shooting at targets and at game in good light. Low light could be a problem. I took a pronghorn at 400 and another at 500 yds with a 6mm Rem equipped with a Diamondback HD and several deer at closer distances.

I'm wondering how this would work on ar15 in 6.5 grendel. Couldn't pass it up at that price and my daughter's grendel needs optics.

A straight X hair works just fine.

Know several peeps that have Diamondback scopes.
And have sighted in several for them.
No complaints for the price point.

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

Does their lifetime warranty cover 'Sucks'? I don't think so.

I bought the 3x9x40 for CJ’s .243 and it’s a tack driver. And before anyone calls me out, all guns are shot in a vice and the only human factor is the finger.

As far as tactical, if you’re wanting tactical and not spending at least a grand then you get what you pay for.

My issue with Vortex scopes is not whether they hold a zero, There are so many other aspects of a well designed scope than ability of holding zero.
If one does not require glare-free optics, low light visibility, and maintaining zero at all setting between 4 and 14 power, then by all means run out and buy you a Vortex.

I have at least 6 Vortex, the only scopes I haven't replaced with them are Leupolds. I don't shoot paper, I shoot animals and they don't seem to care what brand the scopes are. I have not returned a Vortex for repairs, but I have my Leupolds. I guess that's why they make more than one brand.
