Peaceful is always the mood watching the sunset over Corpus Christi bay with a big platter of seafood and crustaceans in front of me. That night, a pelican just happened to basically pose for a portrait. I actually love watching them. They are literally the best fishermen I have ever seen. They look awkward but they sit on those poles and when they spot a fish, they demonstrate that God's creation is perfect. In FLA, the Brown pelicans would line up on the marina docks and wait for scraps when the fishing boats would come in.
