Over 24 nations hand count elections including larger nations like Argentina, Australia, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, and the UK.

These nations declare voting machines are easily hackable and pose a limitless, undetectable, and untraceable cybersecurity risk.

In America, opponents of voting machine bans claim conventional hand count elections are unreliable, inaccurate, and too expensive; claims that are demonstrably false.

Germany piloted its first electronic voting machines in Cologne in 1998. But, after the 2005 election, two voters brought a case before the German Constitutional Court arguing that the use of voting machines was unconstitutional and that it was possible to hack the voting machines and the results of the 2005 election could not be trusted. The court upheld the argument and noted that elections are required to be public in nature. That all essential steps of an election are subject to public scrutiny unless other constitutional interests justify an exception. This decision by the court, stressing the need for transparency in the election process without specialist technical knowledge, effectively ended Germany's recent use of electronic voting.

Saying “if I lose it’s because…” is not a prediction.

Saying “if I lose it’s because…” is not a prediction.

Maybe foresight,..maybe common sense,..maybe predictable observation.

I don't think electronic scanning is.....or at least should not be.......the problem. As long as scanners are simple counting devices, no worries. Any super Walmart scans hundreds of thousands of items every day and with near 100% accuracy. BUT, no vote counting machine should be accessible to the outside world, and there is no need for programming beyond a simple counting device. No different than a manual count.......one for you......one for me. Add em up and give us a total.

And past that, I would make it so that any candidate that doesn't like the outcome could.......at their own expense.........bring in their own counting machines and do a recount themselves. And if they do, the two counts better match.

The real problem with voting today is the source of the ballots being counted. With vote by mail, you can bet your bippy there are a lot of those ballots that are fraudulent. You can count the votes 10x and even if 10% of them are fraudulent, you will get the same result each time. But again.......10% of what you are counting........and you have no way of knowing which ones.......are fraudulent. So election is bogus..........and count is perfect everytime.

There needs to be a nationwide ban on vote by mail.

Hanging chads are attached to the ballot at only one corner. Swinging to the ballot at two corners. Tri-chads are attached to the ballot at three corners. Pregnant or dimpled chads are attached to the ballot at all four corners, but bear an indentation indicating the voter may have intended to mark the ballot. What could possibly go wrong with something as simple as that, lol.

Democrats won a lot of elections before voting machines. I guess they don't need them to cheat. No way Americans would vote for free stuff. Just look at how many burned their stimulus checks during the covid.

Hard to do when the hand counts are done by several. The same bunch of Votes get counted by multiple people and the counts have to be the same.

Same day, with ID, counted by hand. Until then I believe we will never know who really won.

They sure did. They also passed out plenty of liquor and had night riders that liked to hang folks.

Maybe, but when you got three of them sitting at a table counting the same ones and there is a camera on them and the ballots are made permanent record and made available for all to audit.

The idea being to make everything obvious and open.

That was real prevalent among the Democrat-Farmer- Labor party in Minnesota.
