I will be in Phoenix for 2 days next week... If I need to kill 4 hours, what's cool to see? I'll be hostage to whatever city boy is driving the rental, but they're usually open to suggestions LOL.
Any must sees? (No interest in golf or pro sports)
Just happy to be here.

Just drive around in the desert plenty to see out there’s more then you would expect to see the roads are not bad most ground was BLM lands. I trapped up around Wickenburg lots of roads some gold mines around. Gold panning or metal detecting just find a low spot in a wash to look around.
Always the Great Alaskan Bush Company if you’re into wasting money. LOL

When we go there, we all ways go for a drive in mountains around Globe. Lot's of mine history up there.
But with just a few hours that might be pushing it.
Let me sugar coat this

Go have a few beers and some Mexican food. Cause that's about all you have time for. That's about it right there. If you had a day to kill I would go to the Theodor Roosevelt Dam. Then take the Apache Trail ( route 88) to Tortilla Flat. Beautiful drive and scenery is awesome. They have a restaurant in Tortilla Flat that has dollar bills all over the walls. People from all over the world have stopped and put a dollar up on the wall with their names and where they are from from. Decent food also. There's also a couple little souvenir shops. I ever get back out there I will take that trip again. Russ

Head a little north to Flagstaff or Sedona. Lots to do at both places. Slide rock National park is real nice
