I dislike intros on youtube channels. and the longer the intro the more I hate it. 40 some seconds is way too long. thats my personal .02. I'm sure if one did a pole on youtube intros most viewers would agree that they are an negative. If you feel that you want to use it as an advertisement for your business then keep it short, no more than 10-15 seconds at most, 5 seconds is enough.
as far as the video itself, compared to Bernies saving a wolf video this intro is much worse if you look at it in the perspective of adding fuel to the anti's.
Op's asked for us to check it out, I did and this is my thoughts on it, like it or not.

Thanks everyone. Hopefully the show will be starting near October. I expect to have most of the episodes completed by then.
As to the metal I couldn't have chosen another genre as I love it and it works so well with outdoor shows
And Dirty D I do appreciate the response. It's going to be a 30-40 min show and in modern short YouTube videos pushing for views and likes the standard intro is 5-15 seconds, but when it comes to TV shows it's 30s-1m I don't figure anyone who can't make it through the intro will sit through the show. I have a vlog on YouTube that are 3-10m episodes with a logo sting intro that is maybe 6 seconds. So on that respect if a short video was the goal then yes it would be to long. As far as TV shows go it's as short as it can be for a full intro and the logo bumpers.
Thanks folks I'm not the best trapper and learn more very time I'm out but I'm gonna share my experiences and what I do know with everyone who is willing to follow along and learn a bunch along the way
Be blessed
