Grandkids baseball games cancelled here and several other places. Warnings to not go outside unless necessary. I can’t remember ever having a level 4 of 6 air quality warning and supposed to hit level 5 today. I have never seen a haze so bad it’s looks like fog either.

Last 3 days were the first time we could smell the smoke as well as have all the haze which has bee around much longer.

I’m thinking a volcano would have more ash and powderized rock to help block out the sun, also the explosion should propel the ash further into the atmosphere to help maintain its ability to block out the sun.

We will see what kind of winter we get this year.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

You guys wait and see in about 3 to 4 months from now no one will be able to afford lumber...if you think cost was too high, now the industry will do and or say just about anything to bring up cost...just like when Covid 19 hit us.

Now what will they call it... the forest fires tax or something...we are not done paying for this and you guys down South will be paying too whenever hurricane season hit you....floods...

I live beside a campground and get use to smelling smoke to the point I don't normally notice it.

This morning I noticed the smell from the wildfires

Aw gee now you folks back east are contending with what we do out here every summer, smoke so thick you can't see the sky, BUT don't fret it'll clear up once a season ending weather event happens ( large snowfall of a week of steady hard rainfall. Winter'll be here soon
