American’s just batter and fry everything eh. Do Canadiers say 'eh' in place of a question mark at the end of a sentence? And no we don't batter and fry everything. I'm getting ready to have some steamed broccoli for supper among other things. How in the world would that look battered and fried? Eh? How else would you cook a smelt EH?!!!
God please keep they 19 fallen UBB miners out of trouble up there.

I cant stand eating fish with bones in it. Me too! I’d be offended if I was served that. I’ve gone on a few fishing trips with others where some old guy filleted the fish and cooked them. They always left the bones in. Ruined my whole meal! Sitting there picking bones out every bite. Can’t even enjoy the food like that. I don’t let others fillet or cook my fish any more. This my house!

… cook em on the cob when they’re on the small size … hard to beat little fiddlers fried whole .. Can’t beat them on the cob that’s how we do the fids here and bream always If they aren't big enough to fillet I just throw them back.
I have nothing clever to put here.

any one try that with bullhead , they are in the catfish family but stay smaller all the time you can fish them in unlimited numbers
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Those bream look great! And, if you know how to eat them, you do not end up with a mouth full of bones either. And smaller fish can be fried so you can eat bones and all.

Learn how to cook those small fish , especially brim. Light flour coating , fried in a little oil , or on a stick. If done right , run the fork along the backbone , flip the meat off the bones. All that's left is bones , better tasting also. Same with trout , use less breading , never liked too much breading on anything.
