Politics be it good, bad or ugly is everywhere, in couples, families, households, any and all organizations be they public or private, so running away from politics is not an option in reality. I got home today and my 2nd ballot was there along with the current president's campain or response letter. I just spent 6 days volunteering to help with one national and donated a lot of time and money and we hope to break even. I have been working to help put on conventions for nearly 20 years. Now with all the political talk in our other national it just really gets old fast. I hope it stays geared to and for trappers and trapping and not politics etc. as these candidates don't seem to even trust each other let alone be willing to work together.

Bryce, it's all a thankless job and putting on convention's is one thing i hope i never do again, not the work or any of that but the clean up on Sunday, for whatever reason that is the lonliest feeling in the world. Whole place has been a buzz all weekend and now your out there it's quiet, everyone is gone and it's just a feeling of sadness, lol.
