Like some others have said, my phone doesn’t always keep me logged in once I exit the site. I need to resign nearly every week or so and I typically only do that if I’m making a post or commenting on someone else’s post. Most of the time I don’t realize I’m logged out until I try posting.

I don't log in very often. But, I do check in a lot.

It's mainly because there's about 6 old morons here that I might respond to and get myself in trouble.

My mini truck forum is the same with a handful of active users on at a time but hundreds of lurkers all of the time when you look at the bottom of the page stats. There is another Tman member there also so what’s the chance of that. LOL

Some of the lurkers are probably the babies who got disgruntled and left for home with their ball.
Then were too embarassed to sign back on after the little temper tantrum.

I “lurked” on this site for a year or so before I ever joined. Took me that long to read the archives, lol.
Didn’t see many “lurkers” on the actual “trapping” forum, mainly the whining forum. I haven’t been here as long as most, but it actually used to be about trapping. A lot of jealousy on here it seems. Unless you’re a pedi or a serial killer, all I care about is your knowledge of trapping and proof with pics. If I was good I’d be posting sets and pics, lol.
What I do like and I’m sure there are others as well, is honesty. I really like it when more knowledgeable trappers come out and say, I made this set 3 weeks ago and the coyote finally came back through and got caught. Or, I made this set 3 weeks ago and he ignored it 3 times since then and got caught on the 4th pass. The way some folks post I was thinking I just need to give up because these guys could make a set in a Walmart parking lot tonight and have a coyote before daybreak.
We have a lot of really good trappers on here and they are more than willing to help when messaged. Several have kept me going and it’s much appreciated. Just wish we could see it more on the open forum. Like I’ve told some friends, not everything you read will work for you, but something you read will…just work through the process and find that one or multiple things that do.

I would bet the FBI has agents watching this site with all the fifty year old white guys that know alot about guns.

I would hope they have better things to do. Maybe they could give the ATF a hand and get to approving suppressors a lot faster than a years wait time.

I can tell you that there are multiple lurkers who are WTA District 9 Black Sheep who have never registered to post, but read through the site and enjoy it. They are the finest people you would ever want to meet. Some of them just don't post things on the internet. Even the WTA president is a lurker on this site!

If you have been to any of my Trapperman Feeds or WTA conventions through the years, you have met all kinds of our lurkers. They're friends who don't feel the need to register and post. I have even known one or two who only registered so they could log in and use the Search function on the site. Still, they are in "read only" mode and don't post.

You can enjoy reading a publication without ever writing articles or even a letter to the editor! Lots of wonderful lurkers!

They likely wont be on very long.I suspect their fears would be assuaged in short order,lol.

I only log in when I wish to address a post or inquire an add or post my own, hardly ever log on to just read !

I only lurk at stop lights and when I’m on the toilet. The rest of the time it’s trapping related research.
