I've never been able to but I'll be 67 in August and I'm in the habit of an hour nap after lunch. Not a bad recharge!
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

If I nap I don’t sleep at night. Sounds weird I know. If I was to take a one hour nap and I normally went to bed at 10pm it would be midnight before I could fall asleep. I envy folks that can nap and still sleep at night. I'm guessing you just ain't old enough yet.

When I was crabbing commercially in the AM and cleaning fish in the PM, my dog and I both took a short nap. When the tourist season ended, the dog continued to go to the bedroom and nap every day at 12:30. She lived another eight years and always took a midday nap when we were at home.
I am 76.

I was taught to take a 10-20 minute nap after lunch. I’ve been doing it for 40 years. Just part of farm life and manual labor. My wife doesn’t clean the kitchen until 1:00 so us guys can get a quick nap in before we head back to the farm.

When growing up, most of the dairy farmers had their big meal at noon and took a 20–30-minute nap to recharge.

When I take a nap it is usually underground for an hour but only when we are working for extended periods. Like when we drop Friday night and don't get back to the top until Sunday we takes a nap to recharge then get back to the job to get it done.
God please keep they 19 fallen UBB miners out of trouble up there.

No nap for me I prefer to get 10 hours of sleep in one dose....with some pee breaks.
