For fur that is. Hopefully, I can put out a few more coyote sets than last year if my old body holds up.

I will do some rat ADC jobs. And maybe snare a few yotes after the snow falls. I'm to old to trap any beaver.

I'm hitting it hard this upcoming season. I'm going to rotate several areas, hopefully having 200 traps running after regular hunting season.

Im going to trap every year until the good lord ask me to stop, I Have been trapping for past 23 year and have never trapped for the money ! Its just me but i do it for wildlife control and the fun of it . When the time comes i feel i have to do it for the $ then the fun of it goes out the window ! I literally spend hundred each year in fuel cost alone not to mention material and trapping supplys ! There is something about chasing wolves and bobcats that can't be measured in $ . , Entertainment , fresh air , exersise and GOD COUNRTY of Northwest Montana ! Memorys that will go with me to my grave .

I plan on trapping more than last year. But it won't be more than probably 35 to 40 sets.

The boys are taking out the pest now. My 13 year old told me the right I helped him get set connected while I was at work but he couldn't get it out of the trap. Apparently the buzzards have almost taken care free of that
I need to check on it if we ever get out of the ER.

I did pretty good on the marten and lynx that I sold at the last couple FHA sales.
I will target those critters this coming winter, along with beaver of course, and if the numbers on the land look good,I will likely have sets out from late oct to feb.The amount will be dictated by my old constitution.

Mostly beaver for me last couple years.

Was planning an out of state trip last fall, but had some mobility issues that had me hobbled for a while.
Looking at surgery next month, so guess it depends how that goes, how fast I heal up

Definitely going to try. Think I have work figured out for this fall/ winter and been building marten boxes. Hopefully going to hit them hard this coming year. Jon

Always trap plus I bought some new traps to try out, seeing a few cats on the cameras, I've been told so many times,"I use to trap when I was a kid", I guess I never grew up!

I heard beaver prices were pretty decent this year. A friend of mine did quite well on his.

I am going to try and hammer the nest predators - coons and possoums. Might mess with the coyotes and bobcats a little too.

Gonna ramp it up. Trails to extend. Different ponds to hit over winter. Sign will dictate.

Not planning on any out of state hunts this year,so I'll trap some coyote, fox, marten and bobcats this year. Most will be donated to our Tanned fur project,I try to give ten hide's no matter what the fur market is poor ,good or excellent.
