Im located in a prety rual part of TN. Alot of ranchers here. I am self taught trapping out of necessity around my sheep farm. I see a potential business opportunity here as no one in my area knows anything on trapping. So how would a man get in to animal damage control? How would you price out jobs? Thank yall.

Check with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency to see if the information in this link is still valid. >

Also, check out the ADC Archive> https://trapperman.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/forums/17/1/animal-damage-control-archive. Although some of the information is somewhat dated, most of the information is still valid.

Note to self- Engage brain before opening mouth (or hitting the ENTER key/SUBMIT button).

As LAtrapper alluded to, you must get a permit via TWRA. There is an application process and you need to show proof of liability insurance. As far as business opportunities; it is what you make of it. Rural folks tend to take care of things themselves. The subdivision folks in my area of operation like having an experienced person come and remove skunks, raccoons, groundhogs, squirrels, etc. Best of luck.

We are always available for anyone starting a business, not just to sell, but to share what we have learned about trapping so that the end game is success and profitability. For us it's 24/7, a way of life, so we don't mind taking calls any time.
