So was gonna just order my brother and dad some of those little cheap Moultrie trail cams. For git the exact model but their the cheap ones Walmart sells for like $30-$32 . Love em. Well can seem to find them on Amazon or the companies website anymore. Anyhow happen to know if they've been discontinued or something?

I tend to buy cheap (walmart clearance) and have had good luck with most of them.

I bought 3 moultries about 5 years ago, 2 are still going strong. The 3rd was killed by me, rep at work gave me a handful of what looked like AA bateries. Turned out to be 3.6v (AX or something) and I loaded a camera up and came back later and it was fried

Don't know your budget but there are some Browning labeled cameras in the sub $100 range that are good

Used to be a website that tested and posted reviews of the majority of cameras available, I looked but I did not see anything that looked familiar to what I remember it being called on a google search of "trail camera reviews"

Like Browning cams for battery life and pics. Followed by Covert. Bushnell does ok, but hard on batteries.

My problem with cheap cameras is every picture I get of the big muddy monster in southern Illinois are always blurry grin

Tasco’s are the way to go for places where they might get damaged or stolen. I’ll put them on trails and keep my good cameras on feed areas. I use them to monitor an area I may want to check out.
As far as Moultries, I haven’t had one last more than a year.
